Hey people, I'm 21 and have been doing the bulimia thing for a year now....
In some ways I want to give it up cos it's just not making me lose weight, but in other ways I'm scared to give it up.....

I'm the last person people would expect to be doing this - I'm the strong one, the one everyone else comes to when they have a problem.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself - I look forward to getting to know you guys better!

Welcome Klutzqueen: I am now 48 yrs old and fought first with anorexia, then bulimia in my late teens and early 20s. I understand where you are coming from. I was considered the "strong" one but my insecurities were deeply rooted. My family and peers were weight obsessed and I was always, in my eyes and through family comments, too heavy.
However, I would fervently asked you to seek some professional help. No one has to know you have. I say this because, due to my bulimic phase of life, my esophagus (sp?), stomach and intestinal tract are severely scarred and I suffer greatly from reflux and ulcers (have had 5-6 so far in my life).
God Bless and Good luck. KDB
