Well to start off im 17 and only weigh 61kg (136lbs) and im wondering if i got some eating disorder or something.
Ive tried to gain weight but i just cant. Im eating so much more than i used to. Ive even been taking these high protien shakes (3 a day for the past 3 weeks). But i have only gained about 1/2 kg in the last 4 weeks and i know that is pretty bad. Is something wrong with me? My wrists and legs are real thin and its embarrasing to wear shorts or t-shirts and im becomming real despressed over this.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

You don't seem to have an eating disorder like anorexia, bulimia, or complusive overeating. Anorexics and bulimics puposely withhold food from their bodies in an attempt to lose weight. In a very simplified statement, anorexics purposely starve themselves, bulimics purposely vomit the food they do eat, and many people do a bit of both. Anorexics and bulimics also engage in lots of excerise attempting to burn calories. This doesn't seem to be your problem.

Peoples' bodies develop at different times in their lives. It is possible that your body simply hasn't "filled out" yet. It is also possible that you have an extrememly high metabolism. You might want to see a doctor to really find out if what your problem is, or, if you have a problem at all.

I am not a phsyician, but from what you described it does not sound like you have an eating disorder per se.
