Ok, me and my last gf had oral sex, and i know that doing things like that can transmit hiv, but i asked her if she had it and she said no, but she is also a very big liar, we broke up about 5-6 months ago, and i had some blood work done about 6-7 months ago for some bronchitus i had, but i dont know if it would have shown up or not, we dated for 11 1/2 months, but im scared to do any thing with my current gf becuause of my fear, i feel fine, and i dont seem any different besides having matured, do yall thinki ahve any thing to worry about, and would hiv have shown up in my blood work, and what are some of the symptoms?

HIV will only "show up" if the doctor ordered tests specifically for HIV.

You can't diagnose HIV by symtoms. You have to have a blood test to be absolutely sure.

Aside from you feelings about this woman, I suspect, based on the circumstances you described, that you're OK. ORal sex shows a very low- to no-risk for HIV transmission. chris
