my 14 month old has been having loose bowels now and again. she is trying new foods and possibly teething....anyone ever experienced this? her daycare called me today and asked me to pick her up because she was having "diarrhea". but is wasn't diarrhea...just loose bowels. she is acting fine and doesn't have a fever. they said it is their policy to pick up a child with "diarrhea" to prevent the spread of infection. just wonderin g if anyone else experienced loose bowels before in their baby. thanks!

Yes - ours just went through the same thing......she is working on a couple of molars on the bottom...then it went away (but she got a nasty rash too!) and now, it started again, so I imagine the top molars are now working their way in too. Ah - the life of teething huh? It shouldn't last more than a day or two.....but if it does, you might want to go to the DR and have it checked just to be sure.
