Hello,
Well about 3 months ago I got very sick. I was driving and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Very bad anxiety with it, and I noticed my eye sight got very strange. Now 3 months later, still healing from my virus my vision seems to still not be 100pct! I have horrible floaters ever since I got sick. But I definately think getting sick did cause me to get floaters because I never had them prior to falling ill. My mother also said when she got very sick in her 20's that is when she got floaters too. I hate driving now because my eyes bother me so much I feel like I have to concentrate more trying to see up ahead objects that are far away. I notice that looking at things up close doesn't bother me as much. And oh my, light sensitivity! Fluorescent lighting, outdoor sunlight really bothers my eyes. I went to my Dr. for more blood work, and also did an acuity eye exam. When using only my left eye I couldnt even barely make out the last 3 lines on the chart, extremely difficult. My right eye does not seem to be as bad.
I just find it strange how I can go from having perfect vision, to this! Its very frustrating because I have a feeling that getting sick is what caused it. Maybe it was or is stress causing this, I have no clue :( But I am going for an eye exam this weekend. I wasn't sure if I should get a normal glasses eye exam or go to an actual eye doctors office?
Anyone else get vision problems from being ill?
