Starting to get really frustrated. For about one month, I had bad pain from abdominal adhesions from an appendectomy. Those went away, and then one night the frequency just started. Literally, it was a snap thing. I felt like I had to go 24-7, especially when I just used the bathroom. I had several urine tests done, all of them came back clean. One doctor thought it was an anxiety thing (I live in a foriegn country, in a very stressful job and society I dislike and have not adapted to, and have almost no one to talk to here). I went on a holiday and did not have this problem. When I returned here, so did the problem.

I have no pain and I do not wake at night to use the toilet. The strange thing is that the urge is the strongest as soon as I have just finished using the bathroom, but I can fight it and ignore it and last 2 to 3 hours before I actually have to use it. Also, I took meds like Ditropan and that does nothing. I am 26 and don't want this to be a problem my entire life.

Has anyone out there had an experience like this and found it to be anxiety-born?????
