Its getting to the point where I am extremely frustrated and upset and I don't know what to do. About a year ago i was diagnosed with benign positional vertigo (which essentially means i get "dizzy" when i tilt my head to one side - my problem is on my right side). Its supposed to go away but it hasn't ... they did an MRI to determine if there was something else giong on and I came up fine on that...
Now within the past 6 months, I am experiencing something going on wtih my vision its just so horrible :(... Basiclaly as i sit here typing this the left side of my head, face, eye feels like a normal person would (basically alert like i always have been) ... my right however does not. when i smile my right eye is considerably smaller (like it droops) than the other and it also feels different ... like the skin around my eyelid doesn't have the same sensation as the left. my right side of my head feels funny it almost feels like there is an issue with my vision but i can see perfectly fine. if i look with just my eyes all the way to the left without moving my head from side to side everything is fine ... when i look to the right all the way it feels like i can't hold my right eye in that positon it feels like it bounces. i just feels like there is something wrong with my eye and nerve or something i really don't know what doctor to go to or what. its basically to the point where it is so noticible that i feel "off" doing anything. like anything. i power through it but i just know basd on the way my facial area and eye on the right side are it just doesn't feel right. its like "cloudy" but my vision isn't cloudy but it just feels like it could be cloudy. does that make any sense i cannot even put what i'm experiencing into like a simple sentence you know...
Does anyone have any ideas what the issue is? do you think this could be something stemming also from whats currently going on with my benign positional vertigo inner ear issue. i don't understand how i can just sit still and not move and stare straight ahead and feel like something is all messed up in my right eye. any ideas what doctor i should go to and what type of procedure they should do? I am going back to the ear nose and throat dr next week to share but i'm afraid he's going to look at me like i'm a looney toon for coming to him with that ridiculousness.
