ive tried not to post too much on here about my symptoms as i end up getting obsessive and then feel even more disappointed when AF arrives:rolleyes: But, what i am experiencing this cycle i have never experienced before.
According to everything, i ovulated on CD23 this month so i knew AF would be later than normal (last month my cycle was 28 days). im not sure how long my usual luteal phase is as ive never been sure of ovulation before, but i am now CD35 and still no AF. The latest ive ever been is CD35, so if AF isnt here by tomorrow this will be the latest ive ever been in all my time having periods. Anyhow, for the past 4 days i have had really bad AF-like stomach cramps and low back pain, its a real dull ache like a "drawing" feeling, and i keep running to the toilet with a tampon as im convinced AF has arrived! (sorry tmi) But everytime i do, theres nothing. i keep feeling wet down there too but all there is is all this watery stuff coming out of me. Ive never experienced anything like this before. Normally as soon as i feel these cramps AF has started. Yesterday they were so bad i had to stay in bed with a hot water bottle.
I spoke to my friend and she said she got exactly the same thing when she was pregnant. Im trying not to be too hopeful as i really dont think this is my month, but im worried it could be a sign of something else being wrong, as surely its not normal to have cramps like this days before AF?

well AF has just arrived so thats my 2ww over!
im still a bit worried about the pains ive had happening so far before AF this month but i guess she was just on her way.

I would be thinking the same things you are if I were you! We are here for you whenever you need us! What CD did you test this week? I remember you saying that you did a HPT this past week and got a BFN:mad:
You may have tested too soon......If you can, wait and see what happens tomorrow....if AF doesn't show up....test on Tuesday, you are only 12dpo right? I think you wrote that you O'd on CD23 and if today is CD35.....maybe your hCG levels are high enough yet.....Good Luck and I'll pray for you! Keep me posted...

......THAT SUCKS!!!! as soon as i posted my reply I saw your 2nd one.....Well, atleast you know your cycles better know.....I would call the Dr tomorrow and ask them about your severe cramps you had....they should be able to give you some kind of explanation over the phone.

Well, I;m starting to get more and more AF signs....I had a HUGE arguement with my husband last night....over the dumbest thing. I told him I was going to make pasta for dinner last night....a couple hours went by and he asked me when I was going to cook it....i snapped at him and said how come you never cook? Then it turned into a screaming match...I appologized but he was too upset still, probably because it came outta nowhere!!
Today I realized that I get cranky like that when I'm in the mist of AF........
I'm TOTALLY CONFUSED!!!!! Here's to the next couple of days!

I didnt expect to be pregnant this month, but when i had that cramping for so long before AF turned up, i started to get hopeful. Have you tried vitex? Im taking that this month and green tea, thought it would be worth a try

I haven't taken anything except prenatals....my OB told me to start taking them when I started TTC.............I haven't changed anything in my daily life, My mom told me today that my SIL feels stressed because she and I are TTC at the same time. She tends to be high strung anyway....I guess she won't dO ANYTHING! I think that tends to put you under more stress....you gotta just live your daily life like you always do.
I'll quit drinking etc once I get knocked up :) It'll be a LONG 9 months But well worth it.

Hi Angel! I just got back from vacation and was hoping to come back and hear that you got your BFP. Hopefully this next month will be better luck, especially with the vitex and green tea - you'll have to let me know how that works. At least you know you O'd this past cycle - that's still more than I can say. I'm on CD44 right now, and still no AF, so I have no clue what's going on. I have just been hoping for AF so I can get on with my charting and see if I can tell wether or not I "O" this next cycle. Lots of huggs and baby dust to everyone!

I meant to ask in my other reply, are your temps high at the moment? As that can also be a sign of pregnancy. Im not sure when you started charting but did you notice a drop before you had the spotting?

Hi Fallen. My temps are all over the place. I didn't even take them this morning because I had a rude awaking to my dog getting sick on my bed. :eek: I did have a temp drop a day or two before the spotting, but I don't think it was probably anything. I took another HPT this morning and it was negative. At this point, I just want AF to come so I can quit wondering what's happening. I've never had spotting OR AF be this late before.

I dont know what to say, i think the spotting and late AF sound really promising. Some people do get negative HPT's, i know all my friend's were negative for 3 weeks when she was pregnant with her daughter, and it wasnt until she had a blood HCG that she got her BFP.
so i would go to the doctors!

I also have had the symptons you discribed my pains were terrible I cried all day in pain last month have never in my life experienced pain like that before was horrid!! soon after my terrible pains AF showed up. I hope I dont get the same this month!

Im now on CD8 so getting geared up for the big 0 (i hope) will start BD this weekend. How are you getting on with the vitex? cant remember if you had started taking it or not. Mine is ok as long as i put it in a glass of squash cant drink it with just plain water:p
Not sure why i got those pains it was so weird as i had them for quite a few days before AF came and kept feeling wet down there but it was just watery stuff when i checked, weird! mind you they say AF can change over the years mine always used to be 5 days long and are now just 4 days (not that im complaining!)
