I shave my underarms, legs and arms. I used the Gillite Mach 3 razor and it didn't work well for me. Now I'm using the Venus Disposables which is pretty good...but I'd still like to experiment with some more razors. Does anyone recommend a razor? Thanks. :)

I used to use Match3 and it was good, but Schick's Quattro for women is the best one out there, in my opinion. I never get any nicks anymore.

The Schick Quatro for women is okay, but my favorite is Venus Vibrance! Also, Venus Divine is really good.. they both cost a little more than the regular Venus razors but for me it was a huge difference! There are more moisturizing strips on them and I get the best shave with it. But here is what I noticed.. the blades are the same thing for Divine & Vibrance, so I just buy Divine and save some money!

Ok, I'll try the Venus Devine and the Schick one. :)

Also, I'm told the blades for the men's quattro are the same as the women's, and they are usually cheaper and more often on sale.

That's good to know.. usually they just change the color and that's it! Both razors work pretty well and are wayyy better than the cheap kinds.

Im not a big shaver anymore except for under my arms (which is the hardest to get all the stubble anyways), but I think that as long as there is 3 blades they all seem to be the same. I bought NOXEMA's disposible ones because they were the cheapest and thought it wouldnt matter because of my underarms, but I actually found that they work just as well. I think if people want a more soft smooth shave to do it in the shower or bath and to make sure its well exfoliated before and moisturized afterwards.

Not cheap, but it is the best. I have always had shaving problems with the red bumps and the beard feeling as it started to regrow.....5 minutes after shaving!
The Intuition shaver (with the soap already in the head) you can shave in half the time. Just make sure the area is always wet.
I don't have razer stubble. It is so smooth going over the legs, you have to make sure your not pushing to hard.
Take my word on this shaver!

Oh man, I couldn't stand the Intuition razor. The soap part got in the way and made it hard to get a close shave, and the soap was used up way too quickly. What a pain!

My favorite razor is the Gillette Fusion for men. It has 5 blades and you get a much closer/smoother shave than any women's razors I've tried. A few of my friend's have switched to this razor and love it too.

I know that the 4 blade ones are great so I can only assume that 5 is even better. I was having trouble with bumps and itching on the back of the top part of my leg(between the buttocks and the back of the knee). I was just using a Bic 2 blade and the were just a terrible excuse for a razor! The worst! So I got a generic 4 blade and they are great! I have not had any troubles with bumps since. I've always read to wait for a while into your shower or bath to shave so I always just wash up all over and put conditioner in my hair(put a clip in it) and then shave while my hair conditions for a while. I only use my bar soap for shaving because I've found the blade glides much smoother than foam(but I've never tried the newer expensive foams). It's just so easy to just use the soap and it works great!

I have never had much luck with the Mach 3, or any of the other expensive kinds and have learned that the best for me is the old standby pink daisies! I love them. Always work the best for me. If you exfoliate before you shave you get a much closer shave because if you don't, the razor is shaving off dead skin and not getting as much hair. I do this all the time now and always get the closest shave.

I have tried just about every razor on the market and the absolute best is the Super Max 3. It is a disposable razor and is primarily considered a men's razor. I tried it one time when dating this guy and it worked like a dream. That was about 5 years ago. I've been using it ever since. You can find them at Walgreen or CVS. They come in packages of 5 and larger and last time I bought them went for about $7-8 a pkg. Good luck!
