Harry, I've done very well with eliminating sugar from my diet. I'm not a soda fan and don't miss it. I've been drinking water and iced green tea but I'm sick of it. I really like lemonade but can't stand aspertame either. I mixed some pomegranete juice or pure crushed grape juice with sparkling water and that is wonderful but still has some complex sugar.

I drink some skim milk but I never liked milk so I use it mostly on oatmeal. I always drank a lot of water but now that I can't drink much of anything else, I am getting tired of the 8 glasses of water that I drink while at work and 3 more at home.

Do you know of any other options as I see I am decreasing my water intake. Crystal Light is out because that after taste is nasty. What else can I do?

Sorry Susan as my advice on this would be terrible. All i drink from a.m. to p.m. is HOT Green Tea. I used to be a coffee addict for yrs so i love hot fluids but gave up coffee for last 4/5 yrs and just drink tea with occasional distilled water. I wish i could handle Pomegranate or Blueberry juice or even O.J with the pulp but the @#$ sugar just tears at my feet. I guess one good thing about all the Green tea and that is my body has tons of EGCG infused in it. But it still sucks not being able to enjoy sweet tasting foods.....

I looked today at the grocery and found no sugar grapefruit juice. I love that juice so this may work for a bit of variety.

I also found a recipe for the fruit frozen yogurt that I love. No sugar and it tastes delicious! Just like fruit ice cream. Lots of good recipes when you search for sugar free.
