hi anyone out there ever have a mixed hiatal hernia a)that md said was cause for their anemia and b) did you have surgery to repair it? what did that entail? my dr said mine is so "huge"-9 cm that probably laporascopy is not an option. any details what i might be facing? i've got some time bc even though i need the surgery-my hemoglobin is too low and they won't touch me-so i gotta continue the iron iv infusions til my numbers come up...you'd think in 11 months i'd be swimming in this stuff!!!:jester: oh well...any answers would be appreciated thanks!
