Helloooo everyone  My name is Tracy. I guess I'll start from the very beginning of my situation.

Last November I got pregnant and me & my boyfriend decided to have an abortion. The abortion took place at the beginning of January of this year. So, it was about 9 months ago that the procedure was done. I went on birth control immediately afterwards. Well, about 2 months ago me & my boyfriend (same partner) have decided we are going to try and have a baby. I've been off BC (nuva ring) for 2 months now. Well, my period was supposed to start yesterday, but it never came and today I've had slight spotting. I have taken 2 tests which both came back negative. (but it was in the evening when I took them). I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms, except extreme tiredness. I seem to be yawning multiple times an hour and no matter how much sleep I get, I still want more. I don't want to start popping pregnancy tests like candy, but it's so hard not knowing! Any advice?

I don't know what exactly you should do but I will let you know that I stopped using a nuvaring in May and I still don't have a "regular" cycle. Infact I skipped a period all together in July so you may just have to give it time.

Thanks for your imput. I really liked Nuva Ring. I had no side effects at all! All of the other birth controls I tried made me gain weight or gave me severe cramps and mood swings. I was impressed with Nuva Ring. When I go back on BC, that will be my choice! (Unless something else comes out that can compare!)

I seem to be having cramps now, so maybe the period will come. Who knows! I'll continue to post as time goes on :p
