Okay well I threw up what I ate today. While I was doing it, my eyes got all watery and when I looked up in the mirror, there were these little red spots above my eyes. It's like a little mini rash. Does anyone know why I have this, if it goes away or how I can get rid of it? It's 11:57 pm. I just hope it's gone by the time I wake up for school tomorrow.

above your eyes? as in, on your eyelids?

I suspect that maybe they are burst blood vessels around your eye area.. I believe that can happen from the strain of purging. Try some cold washcloths and plenty of rest and try not to purge! (I know it's not that easy)

Thank you Rachel. But how soon will they go away? It's 7:05 am and I have to go to school and they are still there!! I'm going to try and cover them up with make up or something. And don't worry. I'm never sticking my finger down my throat again.

Sorry...I don't really know how long they will take to go away.....try some ice or freezing cold water and probably the only thing you can do is use base or concealer on them....

Try not to worry I would guess the average person would not suspect anything from some redness around your eyes.....if they do just tell them you didn't sleep much last night hold your head high and walk away.

Well what I did was I slept with my cold eye mask last night and will do so again. This morning I put a light, skin tone coloured eye shadow on the area with spots and the spots were lightened. They just looked like frekles. They blended in perfectly because I do have frekles anyway. No one noticed.

Oh my gosh, I had the exact same rash over my left eye, and couldn't figure out where it came from or why it was there. I never even considered it had to do with my purging. It went away, and then came back, and now its gone.
