Me again... Just wondering if anyone can explain to me why it is that so many of us seem to suffer from insomnia? Is there an actual medical or nutritional reason for this? Ever since I have been eating very little it seems I am lucky to get 3-4 hours of sleep a night.
Thanks,
Rachel

Rachel,
I know this one! If your blood sugar is too low, your body will be extra-alert, so you can't sleep. My friend has this problem, so she drinks a little juice or milk and she falls asleep. Just a half or quarter cup seems to do the trick.
Also, as for me, I am just the nervous, antsy type, so I probably wouldn't sleep much anyway, even though I feel so sleepy during the day.

Thanks Lilbear! That makes sense because it does seem like the hungrier I am the harder it is to sleep..
