I am 5 years post menopause and am experiencing less sleep nitely. I average about 4 hours a night. Sometimes even 3.5. I never sleep more than 5 hours anymore. It seems abnormal to me, and I worry about not sleeping. Is anyone else having a similar experience. I would like to hear from you. Thanks alot.

I am 4 years post and most of the time I sleep about 5 hours a night and sometimes less. Occasionally, I will sleep 6 hours.

I don't feel bad and have tons of energy. I suppose if you feel good during the day and can function, this amount of sleep in okay.

I'm now about 4yrs post meno and haven't had a decent nights sleep in all that time. I go to bed and immediately start having a hot flush and that unsettles me right from the start. I wake up a lot during the night and never feel like I have had a good nights sleep. I get so exhausted after lunch that I have to have a nap then, but even that doesn't make me feel much better. I don't take any HRT, but there are times I wonder why I don't as perhaps it would make my symptoms go away
