Anyone have experience with using Res-Q 1250?
Yes, I had for a period of approx 3-4 months, with good results the first month on ResQ, but my lipids shot up again into the high 300's. I never did like the after taste of the oils. I tried Btea Sitisterol , Niaccin, Red Yeast Rice with moderate results, so after about 5 months on this new protocol, I had give up the Niacin and Red Yeast Rice on my Dr's. suggestion because of some problems with muscles, but I am still on the Beta's along with Zetia for about two weeks now and due for a blood work up next month to monotor the results, so I will post this next month.
Now as far as the Res.Q, all I can tell you one person that I know that swears by this stuff, -- no more Insulin and high cho. is way down into the 150's. His Dr. has recommened the R.Q to his patients. RQ tells you you have to be on the Bets Oils as well as RYR and Niacin to be effective. RQ is very expensive and you have to buy six months supply to get a price break. My first order was over $500. That is a lot of bucks when you can get the same stuff in health food stores for far less - by stuff I mean The Beta, RYR, and Niacin.
This is really your call, but bone up on the other alternatives that you have at your disposal.
How high is your lipds?
Good luck.
By the way, I DON'T miss the the oil taste way after you have ingested them. When you burp --- BINGO.-- the cod liver taste is back!!
