The patient is taking neurontin, vicodin and morphine
and at the last doctor checkup last week, he ordered Paxil
also to the help with pain management.

Does Paxil make sense in this scenario? I'm suspicious
not to mention the patient has been feeling odd the past
week with stomach cramps.

Any correlation with Paxil and pain reduction or is the doctor just throwing darts?

With 28 views, I will assume the doctor is wacko :jester: :blob_fire

Today we had a meeting with the surgeon and the
recommendation is to get rid of our regular doctor and find
a good one.

I had my suspicions since day one. Bottom line, in many
cases there is more data in cyberspace to aid patients than
trusting doctors who are oblivious.

There was a show on TV {health channel?} about this.
People with strange health problems unsolved my many
doctors, the patient suffered for many years, until they
did internet searches and found answers to the cause
of their problem, later treated for it and they are doing well.
Take matters in your own hands too, never ever only
trust the doctor's word, question their words and seek
answers too.

For example. The doctor will identify a B vitamin deficiency and
tell the patient "You are B deficient, get those levels up otherwise injections".
He doesn't tell you how to bring those levels up. He doesn't tell you
that ordinary vitamin B complex is worthless as it's the wrong B-12
with low dose. You do internet searches and find the real story on
which B-12 to consume and what dose. This internet research helped
the patient, B-12 scores went from < 200 to >1000 by taking 20 - 40 mg
of B-12 methylcobalmin daily after three months, plus the patient's mood rose too.
