I'm glad it went well for you, Becky. The next one will be even quicker. Remission is a word we want to hear come out of your mouth for a long long time!!!! Just keep doing what you're doing. You'll be just fine.
I had my 4 Rituxan maintenance treatments in July. I can't wait for January to come so I can do 4 more. I know it lasts and continues working for up to 6 months. I just wish I could have it constantly flowing through my veins!!! lol

Hi Becky,
I'm rooting for you too and I'm glad to see you're keeping in touch to let us know how you're doing.
I'll bet you were nervous. plus the benydrly ontop of that has you really wiped out. thank GOD you had no reactions. you have a lot of support here just to let you know.
Is rituxin a form of medicine that helps boost the immune system? or is it a form of chemotherapy medicine?

it sounds like such a positive medication hearing from the other people here on the board.

I wish you well.

Thank you Linda.
Everyone support means so much to me.
How do you know so much information about Lymphoma. You are like a walking text book. I am impressed.

Hi Becky,
by doing research on my own. plus I went thru my older brother's diagnosis of hodgkins lymphoma back in 1984. I brought him on occasions for his radiation treatments.
I too have come pretty close into being diagnosed with lymphoma so I know the steps one walks in from the beginning you discover the lump till you're waiting for the pathology report to come back. it's a scarey road to travel.
so by doing extensive research, plus I already have a love and passion for the medical field since childhood but never pursued it, I read and read and research. I find the human body to be magnificant. there's so much to learn.

I've also learned alot by a particular foundation specifically for people afflicted with lymphoma's. there's tons of people there just with this type of disease and they have tons of valid, up to date information to learn.

I won't mention the name of the foundation because I don't think I'm allowed to. I wish I could because it would be so benefical for people with lymphoma.
they can find it though by googling.

I don't want to break any rules here because that's not my intentions.

I wish you the best Becky and I do really care about all of you that are going thru this.
sincerely and with warm wishes,
Linda
