Hey, i recently went on a summer trip to cabo. Well one night I ended up meeting this mexican girl whom I assumed was a prostiture becuase she just asked me if I wanted to mess around with her from outside a club. Well she then pulled over and i picked up some condoms. We started kissing then she then gave me oral with a condom on me, then we pulled over and had sex with a condom and it was really fast cause i wasnt sure if i should be doing it. She then dropped me off back at the club, the next couple of days I was thinking about a std. What are my chances of geting hiv/aids if i was wearing a condom and the sex lasted less than 5 minutes? Please help, thanks!

Hi Johnny,
First off, you did the right thing by stopping and getting the condoms and secondly you used them! You didn't take any chances and that's smart and you should be proud of yourself. I think you're worrying over nothing. You were protected. Also, if this girl was a prostitute, surely she would have asked you for money, and it doesn't sound like she did. That doesn't mean she couldn't have been hiv positive, but I think you're over-reacting.
Even if she was a prostitute who was HIV positive, you probably would be safe as long as the condom was used properly.
Hope you feel better....don't stress out about it.

Im fairly sure she was a prostitute, to start off thanks so much we took a family trip to cabo. Im pretty sure she asked for money after she started oral and I told her I would (I was drunk). After we pulled over on the side of a back road and we had sex using a condom. I don't remember the whole night, but I know she wanted me to use a condom while she was giving me oral and I had on a condom during sex and I knew I could get a std so the sex was short. How effective are condoms with someone with aid/hiv??? I had a test probably 5 days afterwards (they have a as long as they dont call your ok) theory and they haven't called for over 2 months. So do you think I should check again or am I just stressing out way tooo much? Thanks so much for advice.

well if it would make you feel better you could check again, but as long as you used the condom properly and it didn't come off or rip, you should be safe.

Well condoms if used properly provide very effective protection against HIV, as regards to other std's again there would only have been a risk if you hadnt used condoms...looks like u'l come out just fine........you dun really need to be testing.............but then it's ur choice if u wanna have peace of mind.....u could at 13 weeks post exposure....but i stress u really dun need to worry over this incident..........
take care

ok, i was wondering if people with hiv/aids ever have really itchy testicles and also some sort of pain. Not alot, but a little because it hasn't stopped for about 3 days....

I don't know about that, but maybe you have the crabs.....
you can catch that even if you wore a condom.....
you can catch that from sleeping in the same bed with someone who has it, even if you don't do anything....
go to the doctor!

No, I don't believe it is crabs. But another question, if I got tested for hiv/aids about a week after I got it but at a Planned Parenthood and they never called me back because they have the better to not call back policy. Is the test still good and considered negative / would they recheck it?
