My podiatrist had me lay on my belly and put the sole of my foot up in the air, then he made plaster models of my feet, and sent them to CA. Three weeks later I had them. They are hard plastic and cost me $400, insurance won't cover them. I love them. I would pay for them again if I lost this pair, they are so worth it. They are very durable, he said they should outlast me! There are different kinds, the cheaper ones aren't as long lasting, I think they last a few years. Cindy |
