Hi girls! Well, I'm on CD44 right now. I just started charting this past month and I could not tell from it if I O'd or not. My cycles are usually 30-33 days long, and on CD32 I had a small amount of blood when I wiped (sorry - TMI), but that was it. I figured AF would come the following day, but it never did, and it still hasn't. I know it's not stress or anything - I was actually on vacation all last week. The last HPT I took was on Friday, and that was negative. I don't have any PG symptoms other than being very "wet" down there and a little tired. I'm not sure what to think or what to do. I've never just not had my period before. Is that normal to skip it, and why would I have just the little bit of spotting just that once? I though maybe implation bleeding, but so close to when AF is due? Is there a certain amount of time you have to wait after implantation to get a positive on an HPT? I'm just not sure what to think of this - any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Usually you need to wait until you expect your period to get a + on a home pregnancy test. You are already past that point though. You can continue to wait another week and then test, or you can go to your doctor to get a blood test done. The vast majority of women will get a + on a regular home pregnancy test, but you may be one of the few who doesn't.
By the way -- if you had major stress this month, you may have ovulated late, causing your period to be late. Just a thought.
Good luck!

Thanks, goldenmom. No major stress at all - I'm a pretty laid back person, plus I was on vacation. I was actually hoping AF would come once I got a BFN, just so I could get a full cycle in with my charting for this next time around. I would think I should have gotten a positive by now, too, if I was pregnate, but like I mentioned before, I've never missed a period before, and I'm pretty regular - I've been off of BC pills for about 2 years now. Would it be pointless to make an appointment for a blood draw, or should I just see if AF comes this next cycle???

My doctor recommends that I should come in for a blood draw after my period is at least 30 days late, if you continue to get BFNs. Basically, if you skip a second period, then consult your doctor. I think that's good advice. ;)

Thanks again! I'm on CD46 right now, and have a TON of clear, very stretchy CM, so I'm not sure if that means that maybe I just skipped AF this month and now I'm getting closer to ovulation? I hope so.

I kinda in the same boat as you. I am a little over a week late. I had very little spotting about 10 dpo. I have taken numerous tests and they all are negative. This will be my 4th pg. 3rd child. (had a miscarrige in '97). I am having quit a few symptoms. A couple episodes of nausea, very tired, bloated, often during the day i have to unbutton my pants..ha. as of today my boobs have been really sore. I've also had those "stretching pains" in my stomach. Deep down I really feel like I'm preg. but the tests keep coming up neg. i go to doc. on 10.9. Good luck and keep us posted!!!!

Thanks, amh! Your symptoms sound very promising, especially since you've been there before and kinda know what to expect. I never have any cramps or any symptoms when I "O" or get AF, so I don't know if pregnancy would be any different. I'm debating wether or not to make an appointment with the doc for a blood test, but I've heard yes and no on that from different people. Good luck at your appointment - I hope you get a BFP, maybe even before that! ;)
