I have straight hair but luckily not dead-straight, my hair is long and I can say it has volume and a is bit wavy, but I HAVE ALWAYS HAD TROUBLE CURLING IT! what products can I use?, I go frequently to the hair salon and saw a product named lotta' body for adding volume to hair so I bought it, it gave me good results but after a while my hair gets frizzy and doesnt feel right. what are some products that can be used to curl hair wet/or dri (doesnt matter I'LL TRY ANYTHING and ANY WAY). I'm fine with buying as many things as I'll need so please all ideas are welcomed. I guess I also need help buying something to help control frizz for afterwards!

By the way this is the new attempted I had in mind

buying curlers gel spray and something for the frizz and sleep with them on, maybe? I dont know what to try so please if anyone has any suggestions please tell me!

Thanx in advance,
Hopeless

Does your hair not hold a curl well.. or JUST get frizzy? Sleeping in those silly pink foam curlers can give you curly locks, but just remember to finger comb afterwards and NOT brush it or you will ruin the curls. I always use a misting hairspray to hold the curl in and it also helps with frizz. I usually spray each section before rolling it, and then again after they are all out and I have the desired style.

Unforunately I don't think those are very comfortable... and it only works for me with air dried hair (completely dry.. or my hair will be wet still in the morning). I use a curling iron and wrap my hair around making a spiral, and gently pull the iron downwards as I let my hair come off. If I just unclamp it and hold it straight, it just curls the ends of my hair and doesn't make a ringlet.

Biosilk silk therapy is great for frizz.. I would try some BEFORE styling. It also protects hair from the heat. You don't need to use a whole lot either.. so it lasts a long time. Then I would mist with hairspray afterwards. Make sure your hair is completely dry if you are going to curl your hair (DEFINITELY with the iron.. but any curlers too!).. seems that whenever there is a tiny bit of moisture still in hair, it will frizz more easily. I would think that a hairspray is better than using a gel for this also.

Good luck!!!
