Ok ,heres my story..
Last october I had a fling with a guy, no condoms were used and i got pregnant and had an abortion, I have had no contact with him since the incident, and now I am taking the hiv test on friday.. I am scared as I am in a very loving relationship i have a wonderful son, i was tested two years ago when i was pregnant.. it was negative so now i am very worried, i have no symptoms .. i can't sleep and i am always on the internet looking up info. what are my chances on hiv ??

Although I cannot say with a 100% certainty I am sure you are fine. I know how scarey it is to be tested for HIV. I went through a similar situation about 18 months ago, I had a very brief relationship with a guy, nothing came of it and we abruptly stopped seeing eachother. Afterward I started freaking myself out about what I could have contracted from him, I was particularly concerned about HIV. As it turned out everything was fine.
The reason I am writing all this is because, I think often times the circumstances surrounding a situation can feed our anxiety and fears. It sounds like the relationship you had was not only brief, but you ended up enduring a traumatic experience as a result. Perhaps had it not been for the brevity of the relationship and the abortion you would not be as concerned about your upcoming test.
Just try to keep things in perspective, (much easier said then done I know), but the truth is although HIV is a scary illness the chances are much greater that you are just fine than not.
