Here's the short story:
Aug 1ish was ill high fever, chills, achey etc.
Aug 25th high fever, chills achey etc.
go to over next couple weeks feeling horrible... low grade fever, heavy feeling in neck/ear/jaw area. The skin looks swollen to me.
Dr sends me for a ct scan and it comes back with findings of "enlarged deep cervical and submental nodes" Dr had already told me after all the blood work, if the scan showed anything a biopsy would be next. The list of possible illnesses was crossed off one by one... with one remaining.
So I go to the ENT thinking I probably have lymphoma... convinced myself of it-- just going through the motions to have it confirmed.
Today the ENT says... nothing to biopsy... your nodes aren't enlarged. The scan isn't abnormal. Everything looks fine. He said that radiologist can find whatever it is they are looking for. He told me that i do not have any cancer of the neck/throat area.
So, good news... No Lymphoma... I could strangle the radiologist who read my scans and literally had me in a dizzy of anxiety and depression.
But now the question.... what is wrong?
Thanks for all your support and knowledge.

First of all, I am happy that you are without Lymphoma :) . Yes, what is the problem?
When you say that you have a "heavy" feeling in your ear, jaw and neck do you mean that it feels like it is swollen but it really is not swollen?
This is what I have been dealing with.
Thanks

thats great news about the neck and throat area, have you had a a complete body CT scan, meaning chest and abdomen/pelvic area...maybe you have something going on down there that can be effecting you..like a pinched nerve, small blod clot, etc...
