[I]Has anyone ever heard of the Shangrila diet? Actually it's not a diet, it's a way of controlling your appetite through consumption of oil twice a day. I read about this in a magazine last week and started it on Friday. I can tell a big difference in my appetite. You use a tablespoon of extra light olive oil or refined walnut oil twice a day -- no additional calories for one hour before or one hour after each dose. It sounds weird I know, but it has really helped my cravings & appetite so I don't eat as much.

Has anyone tried this and had success?

I read that article too but the thought of swallowing olive oil kind of put me off, I would be interested to see if anyone has tried it and what they think
