All right - I know that many of you have recommendations on this topic. I am looking for your recommendations for what you think are the best over-the-counter arch supports available out there.

Hey Ellen-

My vote for best OTC orthotics goes to the Spenco Orthotic arch supports. They were recommended to me by my OS to keep my arch from collapsing any more due to my partially torn post tib tendon. I bought the $400 custom orthotics that my doc first prescribed me, and they killed my feet; so he then recommended I try some OTC ones. They are great...much better than the custom ones. You can check them out on the spenco website. And at $30 or so, they cost pennies compared to the custom ones!
