View Full Version : transmission through vaginal bleeding...?

A few weeks ago I had protected sex with a trade worker. During intercourse i noticed that there was some vaginal bleeding. I immediatly stopped, and took the condom off with a paper towel. My concern though is that my knuckles were freshly cut (2 shallow cuts about the size of the end of a pen) and may have come in contact with the blood. What do you guys think? I havent done anything for 3 weeks and am starting to go crazy.

oh ya... and the reason i was concerned about her status was that I saw a round blister type sore on her calf, and she had weird blue marks on her face, like she had been drawn on with a pool cue... i have no idea what this means, i just figured it may mean she is not well... any response would be appreciated.

The sex was protected which means you didn't have a real risk to begin with as long as the condom stayed in tact .
As far as the cuts I would highly doubt it because hiv is a very fragile virus and would need direct blood to blood contact .
Meanind iv drug use or a freshly used cocane snorting tube would make transmission possable .

i worked in the healthcare field....in emergency situations...

ANY blood to cut contact CAN be enough to contract a disease.

Get tested just in case....to ease your mind.
