Hello all! You have all been so great in the past and I am depending on you again for support and help. As of last week, I have lost 37 pounds since the middle of June and went from a size 16 to a size 10. I pat myself on the back at least once a week and get much needed support and "way to go" from friends and family. Last week I got to go back to my home which is 1000 miles away and it was nice the support I received and the drastic shock I wasn't expecting from everyone.
So, why do I need help. I am currently at 150 and was at 187. My goal is 140 and once there, I may go to 130, but want to see first. I am 5-4 and gained most of my weight in about an 18 month period over 10 years ago. I walk 3 mph for 45 minutes per day and do cicruit training every morning. I walk every day and do teh circuit training/walking M-F. I noticed this week that I haven't been losing like I was and my thighs are actually noticably bigger and flabbier than when I was heavier. It acutally almosts disgusts me. Everything else is getting smaller, but I swear they are getting bigger and I don't know what else to do. I drink only water and unsweetened tea (when dining out). I eat 3 small meals a day and 2 small snacks a day. I try to maintain under 1500 calories or day. I started Slim Quik when this whole transition took place and was taking 4 pills a day and am down to 2 a day. I don't want to be dependent on them and want to lose some weight on my own.

Suonds like your body has adjusted to living off the calories. Try varying your calories... one day 1000 and the next 1700 but stay within the week's total. 1500 x 7 =10,500. Make sure any time you have a high calorie day that you follow it with a low calorie day. This creates a situation where when you eat high one day that the body exits starvation mode and the next day it's still using calories because it is expecting the higher calories.

I eat about 1,100 calories a day, most of the time just under. I do that the entire week, except on Sundays I allow myself to go over whatever I feel like. I just subtract however much over I ate from the total I'm allowed, and divide that by the next 2 days to make up for it. Or three days.... depending... LOL
