Hey all, I am going through my own extreme makeover.. (braces, losing weight etc).. I'm now at the point where I am working on cosmetic things such as hair... I have an appointment tomorrow to get my brows done, but i have noticed that all over my face are very very very fine hairs. Now I was raised with all boys so when it comes to beauty, i have no clue. Does every women have these fine hairs on her face? They are not noticeable unless you are looking really close in the sunlight.. but they are definately there.. I've never worn makeup so that's probably why it hasn't bothered me until now. So.. is this normal? or should i check into full facial waxing?

That is completely normal. Your entire body (aside from palms and soles) are covered in fine hair.
DO NOT wax your face. Waxing it would be totally pointless since that is normal and everyone has that, plus it could cause damage to skin, and it would basically be a huge waste of money.

I would suggest that you wax your eyebrows either... but I guess if you really want to it's okay. Plucking is a lot better (in my opinion) since waxing stretches out the extremely sensitive skin around your eyes, and you don't want to do that since it leads to wrinkles.

Hi, I also have a lot of fine hairs around my face, I wax my eyebrows once every 2 years in a professional salon and then every 1-2 weeks I tweeze them on my own. I only use waxing at home for the hair above my upper lip since the hairs are more darker. you can also consider bleaching some areas of your face were the thin hairs are more visible but I don't recommend waxing other areas like forehead, cheeks...

hope this helps :)

If I were you I wouldnt worry about the fine hairs unless they are dark, I have a lot and my friend has more but if they are light and you can barely see them dont mess with them, you never know if taking them out might lead to breakouts or irritations. But for you eyebrows, try to find a place to get them threaded. Its better than waxing because it doesnt pull at your skin and it makes a better shape than plucking.

Remember those fine hairs serve a purpose, as you get older. As your face ages, and lines, those soft, light, fine hairs soften the lines and make you look younger then you would without them.
As for waxing, if the tec holds the skin, there is no streching. I find that the only thing better then waxing the brows was having the offending hairs lasered off permanently.
