Was wondering if anyone has any insight. I have had constant left upper abdominal pain for 5 months now. Colonoscopy, CT scan, bloodwork all negative. When it first started it was under my ribs and I had a lot of gas/burping. Over the months it has varied in intensity and location from upper to mid to back - now I'm not as gassy, but it has settled into kind of a vague feeling like my skin is inflamed just under the surface and is in my upper left abdomen and back. It is sensitive to light touch (especially if it's unexpected like leaning over something and not thinking about it). Not affected by eating or BM. Better when lying down. Also seems to alternate with left hip/back pain which feels muscular - don't know if this is related in some weird way. The pain has never gone completely away in 5 months - either I have the hip/back pain or the burning sensitive upper abdomen and back. Any thoughts? Could it be nerve related or muscular/myofascial? Any suggestions on other tests/what it could be?
