I will start my fourth pack of Yaz tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced a weird regulation period with Yaz.
So far, I get my period on the last day of the four placebo pills. My period lasts about five days. Is it odd that I don't get my period until the last day of the placebos and that it last well into my new pack even when I'm taking the active pills? Anyone else experience this?

Wow, we're almost in sync with regards to the Yaz - I start my fourth pack on Saturday. I don't think it's weird that you get it on your fourth placebo day. Mine usually starts on my second (sometimes a little earlier or later), and definitely overlaps with the first few active pills. I think that's the way it usually works, and you don't have anything to worry about :)

I get mine on the last white pill day too. Right now I am on my third pack of pills and have had my period/bleeding since the last white pill of my first pack (well, I had lighter bleeding when it wasn't my period time and heavier bleeding when it was.....if that makes sense)!!!!!! I am now 12 pills into my third pack and still bleeding. I hope this ***** ends soon! I'm sick of bleeding this long!

I'm on my 3rd pack of Yaz. I also get my period on the 4 day of the placebo pill, but I only bleed for about 2-3 days. However, I've never had a problem with long periods just bad cramps. It actually seems to help my cramps too:)

I just started taking Yaz about 2 weeks ago. My ob/gyn thought it would be good for my skin. I have been so oily and breaking out with acne since I gave birth in February. Just wondered if any of you have had any problems with acne and if the Yaz helped at all....

That is EXACTLY what happened to me!! For my first 2 packs I got my period on the 4th day of the white pills and it was about 5 days, but the third pack it all of a sudden lasted about 2 weeks. Let me know what happened to you after...

When I was put on yasmin to help with my ovarian cysts I bled fairly heavily for two months straight. It was eventually such a problem that I went off of it. It's reassuring to know that others have experienced similair side effects, abeit not quite as severe.

My side effects ended up getting so severe from the Yaz (upset stomach, a rash on my chest, extreme tiredness) that I just stopped taking it about halfway through my third month. I always got my period on the 4th day of the packs, but the last time it just did not stop.. I'm done with that, and actually with the pill, for a while. Not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous about it...but I'm assuming it will end up OK.

well im havent started takin the pills yet. I am actually goin to the pharmacy to get the pills today. but i just wanted to know what the side effects are?? do they make ur boobs get bigger??????

Mine didn't get bigger this time, but they did get bigger on Seasonale...that's the only one I've had that happen with.
