I have noticed that many of you have a diagnosis. I know this sounds silly but, I didn't expect to see this. I expected mostly parents to be posting. I have to ask- were any of you nonverbal, past the age of 7 and if so, when did you begin speaking? My son is nonverbal and only makes sounds, sometimes like a humming or almost singing. S.T. hasn't accomplished much except for a few signs.~Thanks much for any response~

Verbal tasks for me were always my main area of strength. I suspect I have Asperger Syndrome, as a lot of the traits fit me.
