I recently received the NuvaRing from my doctor. I talked to her about the days you're supposed to put it in. She said to wait until the first day of your period. Or, I could put it in any other day but it's not the best idea. Me being the impatient person I am, I inserted it the next day. I've been looking on-line and everything I read says it's not the right thing to do. Was I wrong for inserting it so early? Will it cause major problems? Will I be fine?

you should have waited until you got your period. i put mine in the day of my period. you need to start 3 weeks after you get your period so you can keep track of your period. i would call the dr. she might tell you to start over.

I just don't see why she would even give me a hint of saying I could start when I wanted. Would it be possible for me to take this one out wait till my period and get a new one? Or do you think I may have already screwed my period up.

You should have waited until your period, but don't take it out now. Your cycle will readjust now according to the ring. Good luck! :wave:
