Hi friends,
I spent 2 other best years of my life in Australia. I am extremely sporty, love the outdoors and wildlife is what totally fills my heart. So Aus was a special place to be. Plus the daylight hours really help!
Currently my husband has just admitted to being £160k in debt. I used to be the main bread winner, but quit due to the stress on my condition. We are now starting an IVA to clear this by selling our house. Fortunately I have another one down south where we can move to.
Prior to my real dad's recent suicide, my marriage was pretty much over. I love him but the debt and the lies, his ex wife blah blah, just totally eclipse any real feelings. Plus my parents of course are extremely worried about how this all affects my condition.
I had decided to get divorced and go back to Aus. Now I'm really concerned that my BP, plus IVA will stop my application. Does anyone know anything about this? I have been trawling this morning for info about this and although I pass the tests in terms of qualifications, work experience etc. I suspect my health records will stop me.
Any ideas or experience on this board?
thanks jgr

None here. However, itend to look at BP just like any other illness. Is is contages, NO. Will i spread this illness, NO. I would think it should not matter.
I do have no clue as what they (inporting country will do).

thanks Mudhound. I need to at least get well and stabilised again before I attempt the process really. Right now I'm pretty screwed up and have a lot of hurdles before I can really consider Aus as an option. I'm sure the divorce will have it's effects! If I actually do it. Problem with this condition is that you question so many of your decisions; am I rational today or not? I can certainly look back over the years and see so many of my big life decisions were fueled by a mania. But thanks, really.

I don't know how or if this concept applies to going back to Australia, but in the States we have the Americans with Disabilities at to protect people from being discriminated against due to any condition they may have.
Most other countries should have something similar.
If you're not a felon or trying to enter a country illegally then no one should try and stop you.
