Looking up, looking down
Looking everywhere and all around.
When I look into the mirror
I see myself
An image
A whithering, tiny soul
Searching for something
Something so deep
That I cannot see
Is it something already waiting for me,
Or a thing far beyond my reach?
What is it? Is it something that I am trying to find?
Will I find it?
Or will it find me?

I want to fix it and make it better
after all that is my job as a mother
It doesn't happen as fast as I'd like
but behind you I stand like no other.
Your pain I feel though you may deny it
your words that sting, I just won't buy it.:nono:
We're on a mission you are so strong
I know we'll find it and I won't be wrong
We go through it together these highs and lows
OUr knowledge and love never ceases and grows.
Stability and wellness somewhere in the distance
even when we see some signs of resistance
We'll get there together as mother & daughter
riding the waves in the lifegiving water
Never ceasing to find the good in the bad
or learn from the struggles, both happy & sad
Knowing that we're never alone in our fears
in the laughter that shines or the eyes full of tears
The things that we have learned together thus far
will strengthen our bond and make us who we are.

Thanks, Coffeegirl :D I just whipped that up quickly;) I love poetry and it comes quite naturally so Erin didn't see it yet....I just put it out with what came to my head at the time. I do love to write and often took my girls outside just to talk and one of our favorite games would be to make rhymes together. And so I just couldn't help wanting to give it a try here.

I don't do Poetry.
However I do know geometrical optic. It say, that you will always find that what ever light rays hit a mirror, will always be reflected to you as the same. So Coffeegirl,keep smiling into your mirror,and your simile will
"find you" and your needs, forever !
Goddy : What you have "Sowen, So Shell You Reap". Your bonds are strong and will never be fogotten.

Goody, WOW, Absoutleluy amazing. I have 2 daughters one bipolar
the other boarderline. We have had our share of emotional times.
If it's alright with you I would like to copy your poem frame it and give
a copy to each of my duaghters. Is that ok, it's absolutely beautiful.
