Hi all,
Had my first PT this afternoon. It went great!!It was a hr and a half long. when he started I had 0 degree movement in the 3 bone in the heel, foot , and the knee. when he finished I had 3-4 degree movement. I'm so excited. I can feel a difference, and when I went to put my sock back on, I could bend it enough so that I could slip it on, instead of throwing the sock several times trying to get it over the toes. Of course, I'm alittle sore, and my back is having issues with another change in the way I walk, but it's a good sore, and my back just has to learn to hold me up normal again. I said that I hoped to be able to ride my horses by Christmas or New Year and he thought that would be possible. He said he would come out and watch me..
One the road again......(music playing)

THAT'S WONDERFUL MARY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure it's great to feel a little improvement on your first visit!!! I'm sure it feels good! If you build a good relationship with your therapist then I'm sure they'll want to see you ride. Good therapists can become long time friends when you have to be with them for awhile. I hope each session gets better and better for you. I have been following your posts and wish you only the best....you deserve it!

That is soooo great! You have had such a long recovery and you deserve some good news! I started pt a few weeks ago and even though I get scared about reinjuring my foot, it feels great to move again!

How wonderful! After such a trial, this must be like being sprung from jail - hee hee. Good luck, work hard and keep the smile going (we know you have this part down pat).
Doing the happy dance for you (well, the top half dances, the lower half wobbles in time to the music - but you get the idea)
