Aqueous shunt to the ocular surface for severe dry eye

Would anyone ever consider doing this for their dry eye - I've got pretty desperate in the same way as the lady in the article I use a box a day of drops and no relief from anything else unless serum eye drops work which I'm yet to try.
If there are any Glaucoma sufferers who have done this procedure could they please tell me what they have found?
