I have another open topic but just have a question here real fast...

As many of you know, I have a biopsy scheduled for 10/02. Now I am starting to have 2nd thoughts regarding it. I don't know why but I just don't want to be told basically I am "nuts."

I just want to know what swollen nodes felt like for you guys and what was the typical pattern in which they swelled?

Mine, some in my neck are about 1" and oblong in shape while the ones under my ears are hard and seem to be rather round when my neck is turned but hard to tell how big they are because they are at my jaw line.

Also, those were the only ones I had until this past 2 weeks when I was made aware of a node on the back of my neck. It is pea sized but hard and has not swelled or gone down since it's discovery. Same as my groin lump. The doctor discovered my collarbone node, its small and moveable but she said she noticed it.

I want to know, is this normal if I was just sick? I have had several rounds of antibiotics with no change in node size plus the new ones that have came up since then. Plus I have itchy skin. Nothing severe, just constant itchyness all over.

Once again, I am scared of it being something and then again it being nothing and having gone thru the biopsy for nothing. Is this normal to feel this way? Were any one's symptoms like mine? Just curious if this is normal or definitely worth checking out?

Thanks and sorry for the rambling...

Please have the biospy. There is nothing like piece of mind. I have a lot of lumps and nodes in my neck, behind my head, and in the groin, that I just blew off. Till one day the swollen gland on the side of neck got really big almost overnight. My bloodwork was almost perfect at the end of June then by middle of August it had gone horribly bad. Red. bld cell very low hemaocrit and hemo globlin and my white cell where all over the place.
I have ct scan, then biospy, more pet scans, bone marrow thing. I am now taking rutaxin, bloodwork is better, not great. So they are adding CHOP on Monday. My Doc said that this combo works wonders.
So that would be worst case, all it is not that bad.

Take care
