just spent 4 hours crying like a baby. found out my annual fishing trip this october is cancelled. i'm too old to be crying over things like this but it really hurts my feelings. there's a song that i have that as soon as i play it and i hear the first few words i start to well up and the tears flow. if my wife or kids ever saw me like this they'de laugh or just not understand. missing this trip is like most of you's missing your chistmas. my head hurts . its gonna be tough on the 24th of oct. because thats the day were supposed to go. i have this feeling that there is not going to be anymore fall fishing trips

I'm really sorry to hear it.. I can tell you're very disappointed. And it's understandable. Having something tangible to look forward to can make such a difference in our overall state of being. And having that thing taken away can make it all look so bleak.

I don't know the details about your fishing trip, but it clearly meant a lot to you. And you're not too old to cry about it; it's something you care about!

Hi. I know how it feels to be dissapointed, after all your hobby is a big part of your life apart from your family, dont be ashamed of crying it doesn't mean you're a baby.....Men cry too.

I know just what you mean and it's understandable you're so upset. I feel this way about my drama group. It's the only activity I've really stuck at and I love it but our class is very small. It's possible that one day she'll say she's closing it and I don't know how I'll keep from crying- it's my one shining light in a bad week. So I know what you mean.

thanks to all of you's who posted. a whole year is a long time to wait for something just to find out it gets cancelled a couple weeks before hand. some people really look forward to christmas morning with good reason. well this fishing trip is my christmas morning. you see, i don't have many friends so it's not like i can just ask someone elts to go. the camp fires, the home made chilly, the fish we catch, the laughing we do it aint gonna happen this year the biggest hurt is yet to come on the day we were supposed to leave .
