Hi,
Has anyone taken these before? If so, how long did you have to wait to become protected? I know it is important to take these pills the same time everyday.
thanks for any responses in advance.

Read the package insert that should have come with your pills. It explains all of this.
According to the package insert, Nor-QD is effective almost immediately if started on the first day of your period. If you start on any other day after your period starts, the insert suggests that you use a back-up method for at least 48 hours during sex.
Most brands of birth control say that they're completely effective after 7 days of perfect use, although many professionals recommend that you abstain/use a back-up method for the first full cycle as a precaution.
