my LPR is destroying my teeth. just today one of my teeth broke in half. and another hurts really bad at nighttime, i'm guessing there's a cavity that acid is getting into and hitting a nerve. anyone asked a dentist if there's anything we can do to protect our teeth? aside from brushing and anticavity rinse. tooth decay is caused normally by bacteria converting sugar from foods into acid. i'm sure that pales in comparison to having strong stomach acid come up onto your teeth all night, the way it does me every night.

i have 9 crowns and just had a root canal on Friday. My front tooth that isn't crown is constantly chipping and I keep having more bonding put on it.
So there is something to that.
I use Vita Myr mouthwash (buy online) which has no sugar (or saccharine) or alcohol in it and won't dry your mouth. It's the best.
there's really not much you can do that I'm aware of, just regular cleanings and such and hopefully good dental insurance.
