View Full Version : Antibiotics and Fibro....check this out!

jojo

 Hi everyone! Just want you all to know that there is treatment for fibro....and for about 90 per cent of people there is a cure....I would like to share two doctors names that are treating fibro as a bacteria...always wondered why soooo many people would have the same symptoms and alot of people sound as though they have lyme disease. Reason beings it is a bacteria similiar to lyme....There is hope...and a regular M.D. is NOT going to know how to treat Fibro cause they are not specialist....here are a couple of doctors and their treatments and their reasoning for their treatments....trust me they are on the RIGHT track....

One doctor name is Dr. Charles Stratton......
and the other is Dr. Michael Powell.....he has a fibromyalgia treatment center ...further researching you will know where and any other information....

You can find information about them and their studies and treatments by researching.....

I was teseted for the bacteria and had it....majority of people do...just all depends on how your immune system deals with it....

Good Luck!
:D

where do we get this medication from?

jojo
10-02-2006, 11:01 AM
 Hi Mr.Muscle....you would need to find a doctor that believes in this type of protocol.....I have tried telling other regular M.D.s about this and they poo-poo the idea...but if you ask me it makes so much more sense than just saying "IT'S ALL IN MY HEAD"

You can read about this type of treatment they have been doing by researchig Dr. Charles Stratton and fibromyalgia....he is one of the top leading reasearchers in this....

If you can have your doctor test you for chlamydia pneumoniae...Dr. Powell also test for hormone imbalances....thyroid...t-3 and t-4....and checks for virus's that do calm down with treatment....

There is a protocol to follow from what I have read some people are on antibiotics and supplements for a year....

Check it out...we all need to learn that there are things other than being stressed that causes this horrible disease....don't know about you...but stress never made me run fevers.....

Hugs!

Thanks jojo. So are you using this anti biotic? What are your personal results

jojo

 Hi Mr.Muscle....I have had wonderful results...no more pain...no more fevers. I also have a friend that is going at the end of the month...she has been diagnoised with fibro also....I'm excited to see her improve:)

I do believe that I saw someone's post the other day also and she I think is around your area and doing antibiotics...hmmm...will have to find her post and see how she feels...

I have nothing to gain by sharing this information...I just know how flippin FRUSTRATING this condition can be...the thing that really made me sit up and want to learn more about Dr. Charles Stratton's research is I read over and over how fibro and other conditions are so much alike....Lyme, M.S. ect....these are bacteria's....it's like how can so many people feel the same and run fevers and mental fog...and joint pain...ect....if there wasn't a REAL underlying problem with all of us....sure makes sense to me....

I guess just like any new break through in health it will be hard for regular M.D.s to accept....it isn't text book....

Oh and yes I am on the antibiotics again...I had to move about a year and half ago and didn't finsh the treatment....I also have/had lyme to deal with...besides this C.P. bacteria...but I am doing the fibromyalgia protocol....doxy and Flaygl...and supplements....just started again last week.....

p.s you get antibiotics from your doctor...

Take Care.....

 Hi Mr. Muscle....if you read the protocol of Dr. Charles Stratton it has the medications that are used....then you just need to find a doctor or somehow get ahold of these medications.......

There aren't very many doctors yet that are using this treatment....

Hope you find some relief soon!

that's kind of funny, because it's been my thinking about my own situation that perhaps i need a dose of antibiotics. my sed rate has been elevated, which normally signifies an infection of some kind. i have wondered over the last few months about what would happen if they gave me antibiotics - would the pain go away?

i might bring it up to the doc next time.

Hi Aleenia....I know after being on antibiotics..and I have lyme and also the bacteria that Dr. STratton talks about...I know longer have pain...I use to have to go to the chiropractor 3 times a week for years...alsmost had neck surgery...wearing wrist splints...once I was on them my pain went away....ALL of it....might I suggest reading the articles on his reasearch...it sure makes more sense to me than regular doctors saying....hmmm....don't know that it is so must be fibro...you need antidepressants...they are masking the problem not helping it...

I also tried asking doctors for them...without a positive test of something majority won't. they poo-poo the idea...but all I can say...is everyone hold on cause in the next couple of years this is going to break loose...and then the M.D.s will have to treat it...(let's hope anyway)

good luck to you!
did you have strep...brochitis or anything like that first?

Hi Jojo.. l am a new member & just got diagnosed with FM . l have trouble accepting that l have to manage this condition & not much can be done to eliminate it as such because l think if l go back far enough there must be a reason or a cause that produced FM in the first place. My friend has been taking a thing called Liqui oxy ( its supposed to be like oxygenating your internals/ 1 spoon in water)There are several brands on the market. Anyway she tells me that bacteria cannot live in oxygen & that is how this is supposed to work. Have you any ideas on this?l have trouble understanding how a spoonful in water can put that much oxygen in a whole body & destroy any bacteria in it Regards

 Hi to the both of you!! I don't really know about those supplements...But Poodle sounds like, your friend is even looking along the lines that these are bacterias and such...I don't think though from looking into Hyperbacrics Oxygen treatments that you would deffinately need more Oxygen beings you get 100 percent PURE Oxygen in those chambers and it take many treatments, some are succesful some aren't.

My hat is off to you both looking into the idea that there are REASONS why our bodies are running fevers ..aches pains...brain fog..ect...ect...and on down the long list.......

Have you by chance read up on Dr. Charles Stratton and Fibro?? Chalymidida Pnuemoniia bacteria? think I spelled that pretty close....LYME Disease? Both of these bacterias are sooooooo close to affecting the body in the same way....and they BOTH can be crippling....

Also have you been checked for Epstein barr ...Cytomeglovirus...and other herpe virus's? Taking a virual such as Valtrex will help put those back into remission....

Have you had your thyroid checked? t-3 and t-4?? And your hormones?? So many things to whrittle out....

I just know I Love the Doctor I am seeing now...he looks into alll of these..and I am once again doing the Vanderbilt protocol...couple of us on here are that are doing this.....

Hope you both find some answers soon!!!
:D

Hi Lisa....please read up on Dr. Charles Stratton and Fibro....he does the Vanderbilt protocol....at this moment I am starting all over with it...since I was dealing with Lyme and this Bacteria...laid off of everything for a year...and now time to start back up...I am on doxy and Zithromax and Flagyl...at the moment...also Valtrex for my virus's...

Lots of imfo on this protocol...check it out...one other poster on here is doing it...Also have a friend that is going to go and get tested and see how this all helps her.

It all is so interesting and makes more sense ....than IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD! That must mean there are millions of us out there that are crazy... LOL...

Hopeyou find some relief soon!

Interesting points you have made thus far JoJo. I just got diagnosed on Thursday with FM. Doctor gave the usual anti-depressent and I was on my way.

My fibro all started with a bout of Shingles. From there everything has been downhill since. Extreme morning stiffness, muscle fatigue, fevers, headaches, all joints popping, etc...

Are there tests for this so-called bacteria?
How long do you have to take the meds?

I looked for Dr. Charles Stratton on the web and couldn't find any literature, just articles highlighting some of his histories.

hmm...I can find it...ummm...The bacteria is called...Chlamydia Pneumoniae...the research is being done by Dr. Charles Stratton....and is called The Vanderbilt Protocol...because of rules I can't tell you exactly how to look it up...try again...very interesting theriores....I see peole with M.S. and Alsheimer's can benefit from this.also....

Wish I could help you more in your search...just keep trying....

Hi Jojo, l read the article today & it does make sense. Unfortunately l would love to use your doctor but l live in the" land down under". l will probably have to ask around if anyone knows a doctor who will even listen to give me these tests & antibiotics. lt was a quick "does it hurt here. here etc" then l was told l have FM & to take a course of Endep which are supposed to be muscle relaxants. They havent worked yet! l am glad l came across this site. At least there are real experiences who have a lot of knowledge & lots of tried methods to alleviate this condition. l will keep searching & take all the help on board. thanks for the info . Will try getting the tests & med .
