Hi everyone.
I am a bit worried and was hoping someone could help me out here.
I am on Lo Ovral bc and I took them all month, didn't miss a day.
Earlier in the month, about September 5th, I started on 10 days worth (20 pills) of Macrobid for a bladder infection. I had protected sex all month with no problems. This past Friday (Sept. 29th) I got my period, fine and normal. On Sept. 30th however, my boyfriend and I had sex while on my period and the condom broke. He stopped so he did not finish inside of me, however there was precum. I am worried, what are the chances of pregnancy because I was taking those antibiotics earlier this month? And I had my period. He says I should not worry, but I was wondering about any other opinions you all may have. My period was normal and I just started on a new pack of pills last night. Am I stressing over nothing?

I think you will be fine. The risk is minute.

I think typically, you are supposed to wait seven days after finishing the antibiotics before having sex without backup (unless your doctor tells you something else). Since you finished the antibiotics on the 15th (I think), and had sex on the 30th, you should be fine. You also got your period as you were supposed to on the pill, which means it was probably working properly... so I wouldn't worry about it.

Good luck!
