Does anyone else have lpr and still smoke? I'm just wondering if the patch effects your lpr if you use it. I have an ent appt on the 19th and I know he is going to chew my butt out for still smoking. Does not smoking really make a big difference? Do any of you still drink? I love my glass of wine or a margarita. These are the two big things that i just can't seem to give up. I need all the input I can get on this. Thanks! Lori

Hi I will admit it I am smoking. I am under so Much stress to helping my mother who has had surgeries and out of 5 kids I am the one to do it all. I am so stressed I keep smoking. And My ent told me the last time he cannot do anything for me anymore. So my regular doctor wantsd me on nexium once a day. but i still take one nexium and one prilosex . I dont believe I can just take one.why did the ent tell me he cannot do anything for me anymore BUT DID TELL ME TO QUIT SMOKING AND I ADMIT I AM SMOKING AND CANT QUIT. ANY SUGGESTIONS. CHERYL:dizzy:

I don't smoke, and used to drink-wine and beer mostly, but unfortunately, that's the one thing that will cause me problems, even more than eating tomatoes, or spicey food.
It's sad but true, I had to give it up --occasionally one glass of wine will be ok, but usually not.
