Greetings. Purchase "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia" by Dr. Paul St. Amand. You will find great information in this book and will give you good coping strategies.
A lot of what you are experiencing sounds like fibro. Before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, the pain management clinic I was going to thought I had a condition known as dystonia. I was given prednisone in trigger point injections, and botox injections to calm the twisting muscles. The prednisone began to do some weird stuff, such as causing burning sensations and redness in my face. About 2 hours after this type of treatment, the burning would begin. I told the doctor to stop giving me the prednisone. I don't know if you are experiencing the same type of reaction - I only give you this information as a thought.
Blessings,
Kirstee

try exercise, walking and wt lifting and try to get off meds. I used to be on all sorts of meds and got off nearly three years ago after finding a new career. The lessened stress was the catalyst.
Movement will provide a release for your muscles and nerves. Just go easy, but force yourself to move and stretch. Try easy yoga moves and you will find you miss it if you miss a day, esp. two. Yoga will ease stress and the stretching feels wonderful. I can't recommend it enough.

I am off all meds and I burn still when I stay still for too long. Moving helps. Stretching is best and walking too. I try to do both five/wk and it helps me sleep better too. I just started three weeks ago and now I don't need Tylenol PM any more.
