Is a ferritin level of 23 considered low?...im always tired..depressed,..and i dont know wut my hair is doin:p...and im pale white...i just feels blahhhhh:rolleyes:

23 is on the lower end of normal (about 10-291 for a female, and 22-322 for a male are normals). So it could contribute to how you are feeling. My ferritin has run from 19-60, but I have no iron in my bone marrow (per marrow aspiration). Did they do a CBC when they tested your ferritin? What is your hgb?

They were supposed to do a cbc..but it never came back on the lab report for some reason:rolleyes: ..my doc has to contact the lab to see if my CBC results r there:confused:im female btw:p

get your b12 checked also, this can cause anemia also
