this is an embarassing subject i've asked the doc about and he said "don't worry about it". just wondering if anyone else experiencing the same. every now and then when i have a bowel movement, i have a discharge of semen like fluid thru penis. i have narrowed it down to when i've had to "hold it" until i can get to the restroom. i have diarrhea frequently but was told i would after my gall bladder was removed. anyway, nervous about a prostate problem. i've searched google and only found a few replys like pressing on your prostate and causing prostatic fluid to enter the urethra. please let me know.

you are not alone, it happens now and then to me, but only when the BM is large and i have been holding it. And I think it has pushed on the prostrate gland as you mentioned, and when the first birthpush to get rid of it, is when the thick stuff shows up. Nothing to worry about as it only happens on the larger bm's. If it happened all the time, then a stool softener might help.

Wow, I feel alot better knowing it happens to other people as well, Ive only had sex twice with the same girl and I wore protection, I was very worried i had an STD and i asked her if she had any but she said she gets checked everymonth and there was nothing. Ive noticed when i sit on the toilet and when i get up occasionaly there is a semen like discharge there, but i experience no pain or any thing.

Coast Guad is right on. This is the norm. The BM applies pressure on the prostate forcing the fuild into your system.
