I have several bruises on my arms in places that could not be easily injured. I haven't had any recent injuries, either. The bruises also look wierd. They look to be deeper than normal bruises and are somewhat red as well as black and blue.

Another site that I looked on only mentioned sun damage as another cause. I have not had much sun exposure, so it couldn't be that either.

It is really painful to the touch, and hurts somewhat even when I'm not touching it.

Does anyone know what it could be from? If so, what can I do for it?

I know that having a deficiency in iron can cause this but really, I think you should see a doctor because it can be dangerous supplementing iron without your doctors supervision, better to be safe then sorry, this might be coursed by something else as well, I'm not a doctor. Please see your doctor, good luck :)
