Anyone have a problem with a sudden case of a acid reflux that caused havic for about two weeks and then disapeared as fast as it came. I've been taking nexium for about 2 weeks and eveything seems fine now. I never had problems with it before now. Can anxiety and stress cause this for a while, then go away? Too good to be true or could it actually be gone.

Acid reflux can come and go, yes stress and anxiety can cause acid reflux and the whole works. Maybe the nexium took care of it. Stop the nexium and see if it comes back. Some people in this world have just a few bouts of acid reflux in a year (lucky them)and it doesn't become a disease like it does for the rest of us, you could be one of them and time will tell ya.

I agree that stress and anxiety cause acid reflux, even though my G.P.
