View Full Version : Terrible foot pain

Hi, I was in training to walk from my cty to a neighboring city 30 miles away. During my training, I was doing a 10 mile walk and on the 7th mile I started to get a sharp pain, that with every step grew INCREDIBLY painful. I had to break every 2-3 mins and by the time I got home I was unable to walk without severe pain in both of my feet.

The pain feels like there is a HUGE blister in the middle of my foot that with each step becomes more sensitve and painful(the harder the surface, the worse the pain as well)

- I wear Van slip on shoes with arch support insoles- not entirely sure if I need them
- I have flat feet
- This has never happened before
- The injury happened on Tuesday, today is Friday, there is some iimprovement, but still pain and discomfort.

This drawing of a foot helps to explain where the pain is gathering. The RED represents the painful areas.

If anyone has any knowledge as to what injury I have, how to treat the injury, how to prevent and anything else helpful to the situation- your post would be much appreciated.
